Privacy Policy

Actionmint values your privacy, your personal information and your Content that you store in our Service. We will not disclose your personal information and content to any third parties. This Privacy Policy explains what information Actionmint collects about you and why. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Actionmint Terms of Service, and applies to the information obtained by us through your use of this website. We recommend that you periodically check back here to stay informed of any changes.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect very little personal information about our users. A list of the "Personal Information" Actionmint may collect, and why we collect it, follows: Your username, email address, and contact preferences. This lets us create your account, provide you with convenient and personalized access to your account, and deliver and support the Service. This information also helps us communicate with you about your use of the Service, product announcements and software updates, as well as respond to your requests for assistance (including providing account verification support if you're having difficulty accessing your account). In addition, if you opt-in, we may use your Personal Information to send you marketing emails and special offers about the Service. For more information, please see the section below entitled, "Will Actionmint Send Me Emails?". For paying users, transactional information such as your billing address or your PayPal or Google Wallet account information. This lets us process your payments for Premium services. We don't use this information for any purpose other than to make sure it is available to you when you use the Service.

Will Actionmint Send Me Emails?

From time to time, we may want to contact you with information about product announcements, software updates and special offers, if you opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link found within Actionmint email updates or by logging into your Actionmint account and going to Settings > Notifications and changing your preferences.

2. Information Access and Disclosure

Actionmint will not sell or rent user information, and we only disclose information when: (1) We have your explicit consent to share the information. (2) We believe it is necessary to investigate potential violations of our Terms of Service, to enforce those Terms of Service, or where we believe it is necessary to investigate, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or potential threats against persons, property or the systems on which we operate the Service. (3) We determine that the access or disclosure of information is required or permitted by law to protect the rights, property or personal safety of Actionmint and our users or is required to comply with applicable laws, including compliance with warrants, court orders or other legal process.

3. Information Deletion

You can delete Content you have posted to Actionmint at any time, and you can stop using Actionmint at any time. If you delete information and material from Actionmint your deleted Content may continue to exist on Actionmint's back-up and archiving systems for up to a period of time due to the nature of those systems' operations. If you cancel your account, the Content in your account will be deleted.

4. Data Storage and Security

Actionmint is committed to protecting the security of your information and takes reasonable precautions to protect it. However, Internet data transmissions, whether wired or wireless, cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and as a result, we cannot ensure the security of information you transmit to us; accordingly, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your data transmission, we make all commercially reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our systems:

Your Actionmint password is protected by encryption, and only you have access to it. Your personal information and data stored in our systems is protected by various physical, electronic and procedural safeguards. It is housed in a secure facility, with restricted physical and network access to this facility to select trained staff. Certain Actionmint services support the use of standard SSL encryption to protect data transmissions. However, this is not a guarantee that such data transmissions cannot be accessed, altered or deleted due to firewall or other security software failures.

5. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don't have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.

This information may include details about your visits to our Facebook page and/or Website or use of the Application or other Services. We sometimes use technologies, such as cookies, to collect information about the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on the Application, Facebook page and Website or other Services. This information may be used by us for the operation of the Services and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Services.

We use Google Analytics to obtain trend information about users interactions with the Website, for system administration purposes and to identify problems and improve our services and products. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to report on visitor interactions. These cookies are used to store non-personally identifiable information, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, and what site referred the visitor to the web page.
